Nari Niketan is a government-run mental health asylum for the destitute women. As a part of MOU signed between Department of Social Welfare, Uttarakhand and Herbertpur Christian Hospital, the operations of the asylum were handed over to us in the year 2016. Working in partnership with Anugrah Project and AKS HOPE, we provide medical and rehabilitation services to women with psychosocial disabilities, apart from taking care of their nutrition. Many of the residents showed gradual improvement and about 35 women have been reunited with their families till last year.
